A Day in Tehran is a very personal series to me. I created this artwork to relive a day in Tehran. Damavand peak is on the east side of Tehran. I remember seeing the sun peaking out from behind the mountains from my bedroom window in the mornings. In the afternoon you can go to the Azadi (Liberty) Tower in the city centre. and grab a delicious bite of street food and embrace one of the most beautiful monuments I’ve ever laid eyes on. And at night there is no place better than spending some time in the cafes of the west side when it’s just starting to rain and you can smell the earth and cherish life and a beautiful day in Tehran.
